Ever think about how we might affect each person that we meet?

I think we forget wersquo;re not invisible until we want to be cared for – our ethics are based more on our convenience rather that what is good for others.

Ok, I can only speak for myself . . . seems I find myself doing this quite a bit and I know it’s less than ideal. . . In the end, though, it is the ideals that we hold that help guide us to a better life.

What then is the ideal for us?

It’s a big question . . . but it’s my belief that Jesus simplified this and it’s religion that has lost this message in the end.

At his last supper with his disciples he prayed a prayer for all who would believe in him: ldquo;that they may all be one; even as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me.rdquo; (John 17:21)

I think one critical error with many peoplersquo;s view of religion is that it’s counter intuitive to Jesus’s actual vision . . .  Jesusrsquo;s last prayer was about unity and us becoming a community, to care not just forourselves

We desire having an ldquo;USrdquo;and we want a ldquo;THEMrdquo;. This is a terrible illusion we crave to believe.

We want an ldquo;USrdquo; so we can justify treating and seeing others as them – the people who are not “US.”

It provides a false solace.

In the end we are just “US.”

We want definitions, itrsquo;s what we do.  We feel if we can define something, we have some power over it. We want to have control.

We want to set up line items to define who is good and who is evil and who we let in and who we keep out.

To talk about who is going to heaven or hell is totally pointless and it divides us, working against Jesusrsquo;s vision for who we are to be . . . .

There is only ldquo;USrdquo;. We are one. The onersquo;s who do not see this may be lost, but they are still with us regardless.  

We are to be there for the lost and here to help each other. 

Our one commandment is to Love above all else. 

And Love does not live in a building . . .

Love is real and itrsquo;s there when we choose to put our egos and false sense of plans aside and see the need of others and choose to serve

We are conditioned to ask, ldquo;Whatrsquo;s in it for me?rdquo;

The truth is: Everything.

These centers will be run by a series of prominent community members and companies, who are offered substantial tax relief in exchange and with each centerrsquo;s progress graded they will receive additional tax and financial incentives.

The highest performing center will be awarded a 100% tax waiver to its sponsor.

I went to go see Cloverfiled last night and I saw this trailer and I am

hooked.

You have me at ldquo;Iron Manrdquo; Mr. Favreau mdash; I loved the tings yoursquo;ve graced so far

(GENIUS!).

Iron Man mdash; hersquo;s like



Batman, but far cooler, metal-ier, and he can fly . . . Ok, actually, Batman

is sort of lame next to Iron Man. (But I still love you Batman, donrsquo;t cry.)

Look, theyrsquo;re both billionaires both have cool gadgets, but Iron Man is more

flawed. Hersquo;s actually a dying man in a suit. Hersquo;s weak, hersquo;s an alcoholic, hersquo;s

a little bit more of assh*le mdash; hersquo;s more real,

but then hersquo;s not.

There is a better human element, with more flaws to him.

Bruce Wayne has a trouble psyche due to his shattered past.



Tony Stark (catch the ldquo;ironrdquo;y in the last name) has just so much more

against himndash; but here he is, frail but powerful.

Hersquo;s more than a modern Achilles, his weakness is his own health (at least in

the comic). I hope they bring this to the movie and I feel that they will, it

makes for a much better screen play.

Ok, this is just speculation, but in the battle of Batman vs. Iron Man this

summer, Iron Man will trump the ldquo;Caped Crusaderrdquo; with a far a more developed

character, better story line, and bada** gizmos galore.

This is also one reason Marvel Comic has seen such incredible growth in the

past decade. Stan Lee has really done an incredible job at making heroes that

are more believable and they are all flawed with human error.

Superman sucks, hersquo;s cool because hersquo;s unstoppable, but then Kryptonite? What

they hell is that. Irsquo;ve never fallen to that who has? But Marvel characters have

pain, deep pain, loss, addictions, and they have a dark side that they battle

with in mdash; this is human.

Anyhow, that aside Iron Man must be seen . . . Oh,and the video game looks

epic.

Oulu, Finland mdash; A Bentley Continental GT, driven by four-times World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen, smashed the world ice speed record, reaching an average speed of 321.65km/h on frozen sea off the coast of Finland, track ploughed on the ice of the Gulf of Bothnia next to the city of Oulu.

Juha turned the Continental GT around and drove the measured kilometre a second time to fulfil the judgersquo;s requirements, peaking at an incredible 331km/h (206mph).For safety reasons, a rollcage was fitted. Various aerodynamic tweaks were also made by Makela Auto Tuning.

The Wartsila-Sulzer RTA96-C turbocharged two-stroke diesel engine is the most powerful and most efficient prime-mover in the world today.  The Aioi Works of Japanrsquo;s Diesel United, Ltd built the first engines and is where some of these pictures were taken.

     It is available in 6 through 14 cylinder versions, all are inline engines.  These engines were designed primarily for very large container ships.  Ship owners like a single engine/single propeller design and the new generation of larger container ships needed a bigger engine to propel them.

     The cylinder bore is just under 38Prime; and the stroke is just over 98Prime;.  Each cylinder displaces 111,143 cubic inches (1820 liters) and produces 7780 horsepower.  Total displacement comes out to 1,556,002 cubic inches (25,480 liters) for the fourteen cylinder version.

     Fuel consumption at maximum power is 0.278 lbs per hp per hour (Brake Specific Fuel Consumption).  Fuel consumption at maximum economy is 0.260 lbs/hp/hour.  At maximum economy the engine exceeds 50% thermal efficiency.  That is, more than 50% of the energy in the fuel in converted to motion.

     For comparison, most automotive and small aircraft engines have BSFC figures in the 0.40-0.60 lbs/hp/hr range and 25-30% thermal efficiency range.

     Even at its most efficient power setting, the big 14 consumes 1,660 gallons of heavy fuel oil per hour.

Andy Frost (an English transmission mechanic) created a monstrous 2200hp beast with a twin turbo 9.3 liter V8. This car has been an ongoing project of his for over 25 years and has morphed into what it is today.
